Between buoys 21 and 22 of the Access Channel, Rosales Harbor is located. The Buenos Aires Harbor Administration (Rosales Harbor Delegation) is in charge of its management and exploitation. It has a 300-m continuous dock and is 30' deep. Its main operative activity are the mooring buoys.
Buoys
Between buoys 19 and 21 of the access channel, two buoys for tankers called Anchor Point and Stork Point, have been installed. They are linked to the shore by a 2000-m submarine pipeline connecting them to the tanker lot and an oil pipeline taking the product to La Plata.
The buoys allow to load and unload liquid fuel, and the operation of huge tankers due to the depth of the area (60') |
