It is the most important naval base in the Argentine Republic and its harbor facilities are an inner harbor of 243,000 m2, surrounded by several docks totalling 2,472 m of mooring front. For commercial purposes, Dry Docks No. 1 and No. 2 measure 215 m and 205 m allowing the repair of huge vessels, with the assistance of specialized workshops.
